GoPro Session Case/Mounts
thingiverse
Needed new mounts for my quads after upgrading from a Hero 4 to a Hero 5 session. Openings for the USB/SD door, front LED, both front and back mics, and the back button were required, making it a pretty snug fit. To get the GoPro out easily when mounted on a frame, I added two finger slots on either side. This made it easy to access the camera even after mounting it on a frame. The mounts are tight enough that they won't come loose in a hard crash. Printed in TPU, they are pretty much indestructible in a crash. The front edges provide plenty of lens protection. A basic enclosure for protection was needed - Updated 3/7/17. I built a Red20RC BDX Racer Mount (goes over the two standoffs on the pod) that weighs 17g at 20% infill - One version old, and can see a tiny bit of the case in super view. I also built a Red20RC Kermit (two screws into the front standoffs and a ziptie) - Pretty old compared to the newest enclosure, but I'm updating it once I get my Kermit flying again.
