GoPro Ring Box
thingiverse
This is a simple box designed to securely hold a GoPro Hero Session 5 and features a compartment for storing small items like rings or other objects. The cover has tabs at the top that make it easy to attach. Both the box and the cover have recessed holes, each measuring 2x3mm in size, specifically designed to accommodate these magnets: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0819JZF66/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Please note that you may need to adjust the model size to 101% or more as my CR10s Pro printer printed these holes slightly smaller than their intended width, approximately 0.15-0.2mm less in diameter. A GoPro Hero Session 5 fits perfectly inside this box, but it might cause some minor rubbing on the rubber coating due to its tight fit; however, this doesn't result in any damage. For the box's construction, I used a cross design which allows for easy injection of filler foam to increase buoyancy. The two 2mm holes at the bottom of the box serve as injection ports once they're punched through (there are one or two layers of material covering the ports). Here are my recommended print settings: For the Box: - Infill percentage: 15% - Layer height: .30 - Bed temperature: 60C - Print speed: 90mm/s For the Handle/Cover: - Infill percentage: 60% (using a gyroid design) - Layer height: .20 - Bed temperature: 60C - Print speed: 90mm/s
