GoPro Pan/Tilt for FPV V2
thingiverse
This is a beefier, upgraded version of my GoPro pan/tilt for fixed wing FPV that's specifically designed to accommodate a Hero 4 and a micro size FPV camera mounted on top. The entire assembly prints without supports and is precisely oriented for printing. The camera cradle piece may require some bridges if printed without supports, but it printed flawlessly even in PETG for me. The base is composed of three separate parts that are assembled with M3x10 screws, making it significantly stronger than the previous one-piece base I was using. While it's not as light, carrying a pan/tilt GoPro already means that the extra weight shouldn't be noticeable. The base directly attaches to a larger size pan servo; I recommend the GWS S125-1T if you can find them in stock. The tilt servo is secured to the back of the cradle using servo tape; any 9-12g smooth-running servo should work fine, as long as it's not too heavy. A linkage for the tilt servo attaches to the inside of the right side of the base via M2 size ball links, which I use in the A-1 style available at http://bit.ly/2IuC18v. This version has been printed but hasn't yet flown; if you're one of the first to give it a try, please share your experience! Other projects got in the way, but I'm excited to see this in action. Update: It's finally taken flight on the Skyhunter and performed as expected; check out the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gucb-HykcfU.
