I recently found an old snorkel with a detachable mouthpiece that caught my attention, and after creating a 3D printed version of it, I'm excited to share my experience with fellow enthusiasts. This project was made possible using the user-friendly CAD software, 123d, which I'm still getting accustomed to, but managed to create the snorkel's unique angle in just two pieces. The model turned out well-breathable and provided me with awesome first-person shot possibilities. To replicate this DIY project at home, all you need is to print both parts and lightly sand them before applying super glue along the joining edges. Once attached, the mouthpiece can be securely placed on top for an added touch. I've found that following these simple steps will get you ready to take on your next snorkeling adventure. If you stumble upon any alternative tips or find room for improvement in this design, I'm all ears and looking forward to seeing your enhanced versions.
