GoPro mount to tiny tripod ecosystem
prusaprinters

This part is to connect an action cam with the GoPro-typical mounting connector to the tiny tripod ecosystem that I have published a while ago:

https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/37671-tiny-foldable-tripod-ecosystem-for-different-actio

For good print quality, I have uploaded this part as two pieces which must printed separately (standing upright) and need to be glued together.

This has the positive side effect that you can directly re-use the GoPro mount piece for your re-mixes. I have printed this part both on a Prusa i3 Mk3S as well as on a Prusa Mini, both with very good results.

All you need in addition is a M5 nut, which you may want to glue in, to not loose it. It is held in a somewhat tight fit in the part, so it will not immediately fall out, even if you don't glue it in.

Use this part on your own risk, it's totally your thing if you loose or damage your camera. Take special care to use a glue that you know to work well for the material that you use. I have printed mine in PETG from DasFilament.de, which for me glues extremely well with Yuki Model superglue. Please note that I have found that PETG from different suppliers reacts significantly differently to certain glue types and manufacturers.

Print instructions

I propose to print these parts in PETG, both with the square flat side on the print bed. No brim or supports was needed for me.
