I crafted a bespoke GoPro mount from PLA for my towing plane, specifically designed for recording sailplanes in tow, utilizing only two 160mm x 2.5mm tiewires for secure fastening. The mounting system features a convenient on-and-off design, which I achieved by using toothpicks to create holes through the wing's surface - simply cut the tiewire when you're done. This innovative mount can be attached to any foam-like wings or fuselage with ease, making it perfect for securing a camera onboard. To assemble the mount, you'll need an M5 x 20mm screw and an M5 nut.
