On May 22nd, Version 3.1 of the pipe mount was released, featuring modified strap holes to accommodate smaller pipe sizes. Previously, Version 3 improved the design by streamlining it, reducing size, and increasing print speed for a smoother process. The creator has tested the previous versions and acknowledged that further improvements are needed. Designed to hold a GoPro on various conduit and pipe sizes, the mount features strap holes on both sides compatible with most tie straps. A second file was adapted for 1.5" pipes but requires work, taking five hours to print using 130g of material. To print effectively, set the settings at .27 layer height, 5 shells, and 25% fill ratio. Utilize supports and helper disks for optimal results, as corner lifting issues may arise in large prints – helper disks placed on corners can help prevent this. Feedback from the community will continue to contribute to refining the design further.
