GoPro Mount for 2020 Extrusion/3D Printer
thingiverse
This is a quick GoPro mount for a 2020 or 2040 extrusion, as used on many 3D printers. It prints at a 45-degree angle to give it a little extra strength. If you're left-handed, you may want to mirror this in your slicer so the screw goes in on the left-hand side. You need an M5 nut. My nut was 7.8mm, measuring flat-edge-to-opposite-flat-edge. If yours is different then you can adjust it in the Fusion 360 file in the "nutWidth" variable (add about 0.1mm to give it a little bit of clearance). The captive nut is supposed to be a tight fit. I got mine in by attaching [a screw](https://www.printables.com/model/393474-gopro-knob-for-pan-head-m5-screw) to it, and using the screw as a handle to push it in. You can also use an M5 heat-set-insert soldering iron tip to heat up the nut and melt it into place. Use two M3x12 screws and M3 t-nuts to attach to your printer's frame.
