To ensure quality printing, avoid air cavities by printing solid. Print the model in PLA on a Replicator 2 to prevent shrinkage and maintain a tight fit. Clean out cable tie holes with a small file, threaded shaft hole with a bolt's threaded shaft, and captive nut recess with a sharp file for optimal performance. Use 5mm or thinner cable ties for the best results. Mount the round shaft on your monopod, adding sticky foam if needed to improve grip.
