GoPro Lens Cap
thingiverse
GoPro HD camera kits may seem complete, but where's the lens cap? One friend resorted to a makeshift solution using a bottle cap and rubber bands, but as MakerBot users, we can do better! Just print your own lens cap. I recommend printing it on a TOM with a heated build platform or an automated one, as it has a tight fit due to the lack of flange around the lens, relying on suction to stay in place. Apply the cap while the object is still warm from the printer. Note that machine tolerances may vary, so you might need to adjust the scale slightly for a proper fit. My print settings are: no raft, object infill at 35%, layer height of .32mm, two shells, and a feedrate of 32.
