GoPro LCD Monitor - Case & Mount
thingiverse
I've built this portable LCD TFT monitor for real-time recording and playback of all my GoPro videos. The DIY TFT LCD operates on 3.7V, powered by a single 18650 battery that is converted to 12V using a DC-DC converter. The TP4056 module efficiently charges the battery. Two control LEDs are mounted outside the case, one red and one blue, on top of the housing. Inside the case, I've also installed a small speaker for audio output. The mount is specifically designed for the Yeiyu-Tech G5 gimbal, which is securely attached to the back using a 1/4" screw. With a single 1500mAh 18650 battery, the LCD screen runs for approximately 2.5 hours; I plan to add a second battery in parallel later. Parts List: - A 4.3-inch TFT LCD display (available at Banggood) - The TP4056 charging module (listed on eBay UK) - A DC-DC converter capable of adjusting voltage from 3V to 24V (found on eBay UK) - One 18650 battery - Two 3mm LEDs, one blue and one red - A waterproof latching button switch (available on eBay UK) - Two RCA connectors for video and audio output
