I created this rugged GoPro protector specifically for my Hero 4 Black, equipping it with a clever layer lens that safeguards the lens while allowing LED status indicators to remain visible on the screen. This innovative design prevents damage from impacts by covering the screen entirely and showcasing remaining battery life as well as memory card space left over. A convenient cutout displays crucial battery level details in real-time. Additionally, I built in a carefully crafted recess within the protector to shield the LCD display from getting scratched or damaged while using the case. You'll be delighted to know that all buttons remain fully functional for easy control and seamless operation. Printed from strong ABS plastic, this custom 3D print boasts impressive structural integrity due to its multi-layer construction comprising of 5 sturdy vertical walls and 3 horizontal supports. To further boost durability, I utilized a generous 50% infill strategy to maximize the protector's density and resistance to impact damage.
