GoPro Kick Board Mount

GoPro Kick Board Mount

I wanted to create a way for my GoPro to float in the pool or down the river with me, so I found a kickboard to attach a mount to. Once I get it in the water, I'll post more pictures below. Design: I drilled holes on the mount that are 0.215" apart, making them about 0.20" once printed, so you can use screws that match that spacing and they will work fine. The foam of the kickboard is thick and dense, so the screws will allow you to flip it over without falling off. I also made a version with/without a hook on the front, so you can tie a rope to the front or back of it and pull it along with you. The first print I did worked out great, but the spacing for the part that holds the GoPro is a bit too loose and doesn't hold it in place as well as I hoped. I'll just add some thin tacky stuff on the inside of one of the gaps to try and hold the GoPro more still, and then adjust the file to make a better fit directly from printing it.
