gopro holder for Kodak Sport - also for Iris+ quadcopter camera Mount
thingiverse
Who needs a GoPro when you have this device? It securely holds an EIS Kodak Play Sport camera for easy mounting on a drone or any other GoPro mount-equipped device. I created it to use the standard GoPro mount and attach seamlessly to my IRIS+ Drone. To assemble, print with three shells at 30% fill. However, you can optimize weight while maintaining strength by using as little as 10% fill. The GoPro mount is a modified version of Streamlined Contour to GoPro Mount Adapters from WheresWaldo, where I removed the slots on the attachment side for effortless gluing to the flat surface at the back. I recommend utilizing PVC cement (ideal for PVC pipe joining) due to its fast-setting nature and convenience of application with a cotton ball. You can also use Thingiverse item 649261 (Action Cam Mount) for an alternative adhesive option. To guarantee safe attachment, I incorporated velcro pads onto each arm and added a simple velcro cord wrap that securely cinches across the front. There is no way the camera will dislodge from this robust holder.
