Gopro hero8 + ND filter mount
thingiverse
Work is underway, but progress is slow. Results are rough yet serviceable. My quad crashed twice, the mount remained intact and most importantly the ND filter didn't detach itself from its mount. This particular TPU mount is crucial. It's designed to fit a GoPro Hero8 with PolarPro's ND Filter and attach it to RotorRiot Flowframe. There is a strap hole for attaching it wherever you like. The tilt adjustment is set at 30 degrees. The Hero8 is still relatively new, so ND filter options are limited, especially considering the camera's new form factor. These PolarPro filters appeared to be the best compromise currently available. They also serve as an additional lens protector. This ND filter can be found on Amazon in a set of three: ND8, 16, and 32. Each print I've made so far requires significant supports and some considerable clean-up work. The most successful print was done with it lying on its side (left side when viewed from the front), minimizing the need for supports and clean-up. Key specs: - Material: TPU - Infill percentage: 100%
