This is a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition Lens Hood for Sun Glare. When I go fly FPV and head in and out of shadows, this hood helps the picture stay consistent - no more switching between light and dark to compensate. As a result, I can always see exactly where I am while flying. That's why I made this hood myself and put it through the test: it fits perfectly without needing any adjustments. New Update: Here's a version that works well when printed out. Printer Settings: * Printer: Davinci Duo * Rafts: Not required * Supports: Not necessary * Resolution: 100% * Infill: 100% Notes: This design is ultra-thin and light, making it just as strong as your machine can handle. If the Davinci can produce one, then so can yours - it's a fun challenge! How I Designed This: I carefully took measurements from my GoPro Black Edition, even down to the tiny tabs surrounding the lens cover. Instead of including all four tabs, I opted for just one tab as it provides more than enough support. The lens cover is removable just as easily as it was installed. For the best fit, I chose PLA and made a few minor adjustments. To make this version work perfectly, try printing three perimeter layers - going over 100% may cause the print to stiffen up too much and become too tight. Merry Christmas!
