GoPro Hero3 Ring Light
thingiverse
I designed this setup in December of 2013 for a project. It's a ring light for the GOPRO Hero 3 build that incorporates hardware from Adafruit, along with these STL files. Make sure to print the light cap with a clear filament and the light housing with a black/dark-colored filament. The LED ring is populated with NeoPixels, so they will need to be controlled with a micro controller - I chose a Trinket from Adafruit and a lithium polymer battery too. If you don't know how to program an arduino, now's the perfect time to learn. Instructions Parts can be found at http://www.adafruit.com/product/1463 and http://www.adafruit.com/products/1905 and also at http://www.adafruit.com/product/1501 . With this file you will be able to print GoPro Hero3 Ring Light with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on GoPro Hero3 Ring Light.
