Originally, I searched for a mount to hold my GoPro Hero 3 Silver on my RepRap Mendel and discovered Mickeshobby's design on Thingiverse. While I liked the idea, I wanted to use the camera's clip-in base as well. Thus, I used Mikael's design as a starting point and incorporated the flat mount from Mark133's creation. This mount would clamp onto any 8mm diameter rod and needed two M5 nuts; I fitted it with 2 M5 x 15mm button head screws. The camera frame is a scaled-down version of Deersign's design, which I found on Thingiverse. However, this may not be the best fit for everyone. To print mine, I used a layer height of 0.3 and 60% fill, although less fill might suffice. I printed with a raft because the curve worked fine, but the clip's underside required support. After printing, I smoothed the underside of the rails using a file to ensure a snug fit for the camera.
