GoPro HERO Session Mount for FPV Quadcopters
thingiverse
A detachable mount for your GoPro HERO Session that doubles as a battery strap buckle is now a reality. This means you can easily remove your GoPro when it's time to take on the competition! We designed this mount specifically for the Theory 250 frame, but it can be used with any top-mounted battery. To assemble, simply wrap your GoPro in 1/4-inch thick adhesive-backed insulation foam, which can be found at home improvement stores like Lowes or Home Depot. Don't forget to add a small square on the back as well. Insert your foam-wrapped GoPro into the mount and strap it down securely to the top of your battery. The compressed foam will absorb vibrations, protect your GoPro in case of a crash, and keep it firmly in place until you're ready to remove it again. The mount is angled at 35 degrees, which keeps the props out of view while still allowing you to see the horizon during level flight or aggressive forward flight. With the Theory 250 quadcopter shown, no props are visible even when using ultra-wide Superview mode. However, on some other quads, it may be necessary to use standard 1080p mode or attach the mount at the front of the quad instead. You can also tuck your balance connector under the mount for added convenience.
