This is a groundbreaking project that has finally taken shape after numerous prototypes. I'm thrilled with the outcome, which was conceived long ago but only now sees the light of day. The innovative concept revolves around a sleek, low-profile GoPro Session helmet mount designed to prevent snagging on paragliding lines during critical moments such as collapse or launch mishaps, or when bringing the wing down after flight. I've captured a photo alongside the streamlined version of the Session mount, which boasts an even lower profile than expected – sans the significant snag gap that once existed. To print this design, face-down or face-up orientation works equally well, with PLA being a suitable material choice. ABS and TPU can also be used for added versatility. The camera smoothly inserts from the rear and secures in place via two side bars expertly integrated into the design.
