This design is based on the popular "Quick Release GoPro Hero Frame" found on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2193900), but with a key feature - a hot shoe mount added on top for easy attachment of microphones or lights. Built to be used with 3D printing, this frame is designed specifically for the GoPro Hero3 and features a simple snap lock design that makes it easy to open and close. For optimal performance, it's recommended to print the frame in a somewhat flexible material. The creator has successfully printed it using nGen from colorFabb and pre-release PetG from Proto-Pasta.
