GoPro Hero 5 Session - ProShot Rig
thingiverse
WORK IN PROGRESS, STLs will come later. Components will be printed separately and fastened using magnets and interlocking channels. Thought it would be cool to design a Camera rig that can house my GoPro Hero 5 Session, external microphone, and two external battery packs. Parts: GoPro Hero 5 Session GoPro Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter 16WMS126 External Battery Packs *** 10/15/2018 - UPDATE *** V1 of the GoPro case and lid printed on my Qidi Tech One 3D Printer in PLA (hotend 205c and bed 55c) I'm going to test fit magnets and see how they hold together, also already thinking about making even more revisions to the case and lid. *** 10/19/2018 - UPDATE *** I have test fitted the magnets and they fit well, one hole placement was off center, and I think the size magnet designed it for is too small (not going to be strong enough), not to worry, I will go back to the drawing board and revise the design. I have several shapes and sizes of magnets to work with and test. Also looking at threaded inserts as a way to hold things together.
