Comparison with 5DSR: The same lens, focal length, and aperture are used in the test. Initial Test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woM5lv5APqg Parts Needed: 1/4" 20 Nut Camera Extension Tubes https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OTDJSKC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/Fotodiox-Extension-Compatible-Close-up-Photography/dp/B003Y5T464/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=nikon+extension+tubes&qid=1588218441&s=electronics&sr=1-1 Instructions: Remove the GoPro lens and replace the protective lens cover. Print the camera adapter. Scale Z of the '4mm spacer' file to 4.2mm for Canon or 5.7mm for Nikon in your slicer, then print. Epoxy the 1/4" 20 nut to the camera adapter. Remove the lens mount from the extension tube set. Glue the extension tube to the spacer. Glue the spacer to the camera adapter. Note: This is a work in progress. I have yet to build this with perfect focus. A 4.2mm spacer gave me perfect focus when dry-fitted, but once epoxied, the added thickness of epoxy changed the focal plane. One possible remedy for this is to use super glue instead of epoxy. You will need an IR cut filter on your lens to avoid a pink cast. I'll update this once I achieve a perfect working unit.
