I modified a GoPro Hero 4 Black edition camera adapter to fit onto an X-Cam Sight 2 gimbal, and it might also work with other phone holders too. The combined weight of the camera and adapter is simply too light for stable operation on the gimbal. To fix this issue, I added two M6 screws with self-locking nuts, which added exactly 20 grams of weight to ensure smooth functioning of the gimbal.
