GoPro Hero 3+ Frame

GoPro Hero 3+ Frame

thingiverse

This remix combines two different models: Nazzaf's (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1198514) and Barspin's (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:113764). Barspin's frame securely holds the camera but makes it challenging to insert and remove the GoPro, while also misplacing the Hero 3+ microphone openings. In contrast, Nazzaf's frame offers easy camera insertion and removal, correctly positioned Hero 3+ mic openings, and larger button holes suitable for use with thick gloves. However, the camera does not fit snugly in the frame, causing rattling issues. I merged the strengths of both designs, allowing space to mount a GoPro protective lens (https://www.amazon.com/GoPro-Protective-Lens-Official-Accessory/dp/B00F19Q3T2), which is essential for running my GoPro with a frame housing. EDIT: The STL file was modified to make the frame sturdier and less flexible by removing one clip and shortening the remaining clips, resulting in three clips instead of four.
