Nathan's brushless gimbal for Hero 3 has been modified to cater to my specific needs, as I own a Hero 2 and have different motors (Rctimer 2212-70T). A Hero 2-compatible version is available, while a TBS Discovery frame mount can be used alternatively. An update has increased the thickness of the 90 degree arm to 8mm, eliminating 'wiggle' issues when printed in ABS due to insufficient stiffness in the previous 7mm version. PLA printing may not have this problem, though it remains untested. The gimbal also includes mounts for a CCD cam, Martinez control board, and video transmitter; testing is pending receipt of one final motor.
