GoPro Helmet Mount
thingiverse
I was tasked with creating a GoPro mount for a Fox Rampage Pro peaked helmet. The helmet already features a screw and threaded inset on the peak, so I utilized that to secure the mount in place. This design positions the camera as high off the ground as possible while still allowing for tightening of the screws. UPDATE: I have now developed a V2 version of the mount. The base is significantly stronger, with more clearance to the rear for easier thumb-turn screw fixing. The overall design has been smoothed out for a more visually appealing look, and I've corrected the hex sizes to fit the nuts snugly. UPDATE 2: A new arm configuration, dubbed "Arm-Short STL," has been added. This modification brings the camera closer to the helmet, providing an unobstructed view. I highly recommend printing off this revised arm for optimal results. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer Model: MakerBot Replicator Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 80%
