GoPro Helmet Gimbal mount
thingiverse
First off, huge thanks to my buddy Brian for hooking me up on the 3D printer last year. I had no idea they came so cheaply. Now I'm hooked - literally! Huge thanks again. Secondly, this is my first print, and I'd love your honest feedback. Love it, hate it, think it was a waste of time or mine, please chime in! I designed this mount to work with the FeiYutech WG2 wearable 3-axis gimbal, which attaches to the baseplate that came with the Explorer Action Camera (not a GoPro; way cheaper). I secured the gimbal using 1/4-20 x 1/2 inch machine screws. Here are the Cura settings I used: * Wall thickness: 2mm * Infill: 20% grid * Nozzle temperature: 230°C * Build plate temperature: 95°C * Print speed: 60 (you can probably go faster) * It absolutely requires printing with supports, as there's a lot of overhang. Let me know what you think! Thanks again. Oh, and I used Cura to generate the G-code.
