GoPro Helmet Front mount

GoPro Helmet Front mount

This is a helmet front mount for a GoPro action camera. I use a Ty-rap to secure it firmly to the helmet. For the knob and nut, I prefer to utilize M4 instead of the original M5 screws - they perform identically, saving weight while providing more space around the captive nut. The mount was printed in ABS with supports enabled, and a M4 captive nut is strategically placed inside the fast-release attachment. The 3D models for the skate helmet and GoPro camera come from Grabcad, available at https://grabcad.com/library/skate-helmet and https://grabcad.com/library/gopro-hero-3-hd-camera-with-the-frame. For installing captive nuts, be sure to pause the g-code and insert them properly - a detailed explanation can be found in one of my previous projects on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:587659.
