GoPro H3 Caddy for Larger Video Quad

Here is the rewritten text: This slide fits perfectly into my GoPro Hero3 caddy to hold larger 450 Cinetank style RIGs in place securely. I actually designed this to complement my new Predator Video Quad, and it can be locked firmly into position using M3 nuts - you can see them recessed into the build in the attached picture. The bolt-up holes are spaced 44.5mm apart, matching some popular gimbal controller boards. Normally, this rig holds a full-sized gimbal, but I built this version for users who don't have a gimbal or want to add a GoPro to their existing rig. The anchoring block is 35mm high and made of durable materials, ensuring that the GoPro fits snugly in from the top and stays secure with a simple rubber band. All buttons and SD cards remain accessible. I drew inspiration from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:220929), but found it was too tight for my GoPro, so I rebuilt the design from scratch. I've updated the board to be jello-free - perfect for smooth video shots! **Instructions** This slide was printed at a low resolution. To achieve optimal results, print in medium-high quality (0.2mm layer thickness) with support structures. It's highly recommended to print this in ABS to prevent warping under direct sunlight or high temperatures. When using the Quad without a dirty/clean frame layout, you might encounter jello effects.
