I built this because I got fed up with using another flimsy stabilizer that I cobbled together. It utilized 4 standard skate bearings, some 5/16" all-thread rod, nuts, and fender washers. I designed everything from scratch except for the camera mount. That was based on one I downloaded from Trimble's 3D warehouse and modified to accept a 1/2" nut in the base. Assembly Notes Everything should fit together with minimal friction. Initially, I struggled with my tolerances being too loose, especially with the pins on the yoke and handle. If your pins don't fit, try editing them in Sketchup or scaling them in your preferred slicer. Assembly should be straightforward if you look at my picture. I designed this to work with my GoPro Hero 3, but it should work with any small camera, provided you weigh it correctly. Proper weighting is essential for a smooth shot. If you don't add enough weight, the camera will wobble and refuse to stay upright. Materials Needed A length of 5/16" all-thread rod 8 nuts to screw onto your all-thread rod A package of fender washers as weights A set of standard GoPro hardware
