This is a companion piece for the Genus Cage aluminum GoPro enclosure. The Genus Cage was created to shield a Gopro within its water-resistant housing, but because of the camera's short battery life, I usually attach the battery Back Pack too. This keeps the aluminum rear panel from fastening properly. By including this spacer and purchasing some extended machine screws afterwards, you can now firmly mount the GoPro alongside the battery backpack safely. Version 2: I've widened the holes somewhat to make inserting the 1/4-20 machine screws a little less difficult. A chamfer was also added to the inner frame so that the battery back pack button protrudes a bit more.
