Like other people in the comments, I found the holes in the tripod head to be too large to firmly hold the 3mm screws. So I added a small insert to reduce the holes to 2.6mm diameter and now the screws hold nicely without the need for glue etc. I recommend 3x10mm screws with countersunk heads, or 3x12mm screws with button head. Others may have to be cut to length. Thanks to krakow_marcin for this great and versatile design!
