GoPro Float using Noodle
thingiverse
The grooves dig deep into the center of a pool noodle, eliminating the need for glue altogether. I print this straight up and down with a brim consisting of 20 lines and 3 layers. This precautionary measure likely isn't necessary, but it helps keep the rod from toppling over accidentally. The hole for the connecting screw is threaded tightly, allowing you to possibly forego using a nut, or opt instead for an M5 nut at the end.
