Update 20180614: v4 is here: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/action-camera-diver-s-handle-4-aussieland-edition Check out 2nd version of diver handle here: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/gopro-diver-s-handle-v2 I created two spikes that can be screwed into the bottom of the handle to secure it firmly onto the sea floor and capture footage of sea eels. These spikes can also be screwed into the grips to elevate the camera above the sea floor. Alternatively, they can be stored in the grips by turning them around. Layer height is set at 0.1 mm. Spikes, mount, and grips have a 100% infill. Note that the mount does not require support, but it's essential to clean up its edges. 20% infill is used for left and right holder parts. The entire model was created in an openSCAD script that's easy to read and understand. This makes it simple to adjust the model dimensions according to your needs. I also separated the GoPro mount creation script into a single module, allowing you to reuse it in other projects with ease. To assemble the handle, you'll need two 25 mm M5 stainless steel bolts and two M5 nuts. If you prefer imperial sizes, simply modify the script and re-render the holders and the mount accordingly.
