I want to capture clear footage with my GoPro Hero while driving without seeing my dirty windshield, hood, or dash. To ensure a secure hold, I invested in three RAM suction cups, known for their strength and reliability, and designed a triangle plate to integrate them as one unit. This setup allows up to two of the mounts to fail without compromising the camera's position. With this rig, I feel confident filming at freeway speeds during cross-country trips. My initial mount was centered and low, but it proved challenging to attach the knob, and the mount remained visible in the lens. To overcome these issues, I repositioned the mount for my second version, raising it off the triangle plate and placing it closer to the edge. This new design works flawlessly.
