Gopro Cage for Emax 300 FPV Quadrocopter
thingiverse
Here's a simple frame for attaching your GoPro Hero3/3+ to an EMAX 300 foldable quadcopter. Refer to photo 1 for instructions on how to do it.\nTo begin, you'll need to replace two metal spacers from the copter with this part and use M3 nuts that fit into the existing holes.\nYou will also have to drill a hole in the lower carbon frame piece as shown in photo 3. This setup lets you continue operating your camera even while it's attached.\nI found that by setting my GoPro to time lapse mode before taking off, I could capture excellent vertical shots with my tiny, portable drone. There is a smaller attachment for securing the camera inside of the frame using an M2 nut and bolt as seen in the photos below.\nMy drone setup includes: the EMAX 300 quadcopter, MT2204 motors, CC3D Flight Control unit, 6-inch carbon fiber propellers, a 2200 mAh 3-cell battery pack with one power cell (6S). My estimated flight time with my GoPro mounted was approximately six to seven minutes.
