A magnetic GoPro base clip/mount I made to use my GoPro as a webcam for my desktop.I printed mine out of PLA without support. It accepts a 12mm (½") diameter button magnet that's 3mm (1/8") thick. I made the recess 13mm in diameter and 3.5mm deep. (Just so you can gauge how big of a magnet can potentially fit in there.)I also found out that when I tried making this mount, there was a great lack of these base clips on Printables, therefore, I've added the Fusion 360 file as well just so you can use the geometry rather than sitting down and making your own in CAD.I'd recommend this for static use only. I doubt the size of the magnet can be strong enough for dynamic use at that size.I'd be happy to answer any questions or requests you may have.
