GoPro auto-panning rig using a cheap rotisserie motor
thingiverse
Create a GoPro camera panning rig with a cheap rotisserie motor. To ensure smooth motion and optimal range, experiment with various hole placements on the bracket until satisfied. If holes are tight, adjust by driving m3 bolts in and out to conform plastic threads. The rig can be mounted on a countertop or tripod via hexnut location. For inspiration, view the YouTube video showcasing the panning motion. Find the rotisserie motor used in the Amazon link provided. OpenSCAD files are included for adjustments. Don't forget to download Randyy's openscad library and Agwn's GoPro extension arm from Thingiverse as referenced in the instructions.
