Hello, Velcro straps outshine zip ties any day! I transformed Zip Tie Mount Gopro by Mopedgonewild into a sleek GoPro mount for my Wills Wing Hang Glider using TinkerCAD. I reengineered the base to fit snugly on a 50mm tube and added a curved slot that can accommodate a one-inch Velcro strap. The result is a minimalist design with exceptional stability. The beveled edge of the original Zip Tie Mount Gopro by Mopedgonewild impressed me, making it more secure for my GoPro. I'm confident that the 50mm tube diameter could be swapped out for other sizes to suit various tubes (bikes, UFOs, and more). I printed this design with black PETG filament at 235°C, using a raft and external support on its side. With 100% infill, it's both compact and robust.
