Pollen from goosefoot/Chenopodium (Chenopodium album, Amaranthaceae) causes significant allergic reactions in northern India where it is a popular food plant known as bathua. The pollen of Chenopodium album is a common allergen responsible for hayfever among people who live near areas where the plant grows abundantly. A detailed analysis of Chenopodium pollen, as described by PalDat (Diethart, 2016), reveals that it is medium-sized and has an isopolar monad structure. The shape can be either spheroidal or irregular, with circular or irregular patterns observed in polar view. Additionally, the exine surface of the pollen exhibits microechinate or perforate characteristics. This model is part of a comprehensive 3D Pollen Project that aims to create detailed digital models of various plant species.
