Goose Neck Trailer - Take Apart
cults3d
This goose neck trailer will now fit all base trucks (with normal or big wheels). This trailer is partly based on the M870A3. There are two ways to mount a trailer on the truck: * Goose neck option, use two screws close to flat bed. * 'Easy way', just use that one screw on top of the king pin. The total length is adjustable, by adding less or more mid-sections. Each additional section is 100 mm long. For assembly, most sections are connected with M3x25 bolts & nuts, up to 26 pieces, if the one in the picture is assembled (having two additional sections). Then there are seven bolts needed, for the 'take-apart' experience. (Also included here.) Updated version: v1.06: Included "platform_v1_open.stl". v1.05: On request, added a big wheel goose neck option. (Did not test this one myself.) v1.03: Enable customized license plates! Download the free OpenSCAD script here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/base-truck-take-apart. Enlarged hole in lower king pin. Also added lower king pin for the previous R1 base truck. (Although the lower king pin is not mandatory.) v1.02: Goose neck: Optional split this part in half and needs four times more M3x25 screws to assemble. This way it's more easy to print and will be printed "automatically" in XY plane for additional strength. v1.01: Updated wrongly placed screw holes (oops). Added some tolerances on the holes for the lights. Added optional central chassis for the truck, so two spare wheels could be added. Updated platform with some detailing.
