Google Home Mini Wall Mount

Hello! I set out to create a simple wall mount for my Mini that wouldn't compromise its sleek design or functionality. I decided to forego the mute switch as it's not essential in my opinion. The mount uses two standard screws to secure itself to the wall and relies on gravity to enclose the Mini within its casing. The design also allows the charger to be plugged in from either direction. It's likely that this mount can also be secured to a ceiling, although I haven't tried it. Here are the step-by-step instructions for mounting: First, use a level to draw a horizontal line on the wall. Then, create a short vertical line where you want to place the first screw. Next, use a ruler and add a second vertical line 24 millimeters from the first line, either to the left or right. You'll find these guidelines printed directly on the mount's design. Place the first piece with the slotted holes over the intersection point and screw in the first screw until it's seated snugly against the wall. The mount should be securely fastened but still allow for easy screw insertion. Repeat this process for the second piece. This step is optional, but highly recommended: cut a sponge material (about 60mm in diameter and 5mm thick) to fit inside the mount. This will help reduce vibrations and resonance from other speakers, ensuring that your Home Mini doesn't move when you press it. Once you've inserted the charging cable and placed the Mini within its casing, simply slide the mount down into place. If you're mounting this to a ceiling, make sure to tighten the screws more than usual for added security.
