I needed a mount for my Google mini that minimized its wall footprint, so I flipped the cable management of Carljam's design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3471944) and attached it to the back. Then, I added a cover to conceal the cables. To simplify printing, I broke down some parts, requiring 6 small screws for assembly. I also downsized the holes to accommodate any small wooden screws. This mount can be used directly in jacks protruding up to 20mm from the wall or more, or paired with smart plugs or other devices that create space for cable management.
