Google Home Mini shelf
thingiverse
I made this to hold a Google Home Mini mounted vertically along the wall, serving as an effective solution for a functional design that showcases attention to detail. Created using Autodesk Fusion 360 (Maker license), I included features like a hole through which to thread the power cord and rounded edges to enhance user experience. The Google Home Mount is designed to sit loosely against the wall, leaning back in a comfortable position. After exploring various designs, I settled on this one because it successfully holds the oddly-shaped speaker while providing the necessary robustness for printing in PLA. Note that the bottom of the shelf appears contracted due to my printer's sensitivity to ambient temperature and breeze, which is particularly noticeable given its affordability. However, rest assured that your printed copy will look better than mine if you follow the uploaded file instructions. To achieve optimal results, I rotated my design in the slicer so the bottom of the shelf is parallel to the bed of the printer. Feel free to adjust this setting according to your printer's specifications for the best outcome.
