Another issue could be a broken wire if it needs to make unnatural bends. I solved this by making the bottom wider, so the cable wouldn't break. You'll also see the cable on top; that's just to prevent it from breaking. You can get it tighter, but that would increase the chance of breaking. Since you want to twist the wires easily, I added two little blocks to keep them from untwisting - these are printable thanks to a small 45-degree chamfer without supports.
