Google Glass Thin Frame temple
thingiverse
If you own a pair of sleek Google Glass titanium frames like I do, there's a good chance you'll want to use the frames without Glass from time to time. Since Glass isn't something you can wear everywhere or to all events, and my prescriptions are pretty pricey, I wanted to have the freedom to use them without Glass occasionally, so here's the solution. Printed in ABS plastic with a layer thickness of 0.20mm or less and set at Fine quality. There are two versions available - V7 uses a screw (I won't disclose the exact type since it was a lucky coincidence that one fit perfectly) and V14 which holds itself in place using a clip. P.S: I've printed it on my 3D printer with Octave ABS filament at 235 degrees Celsius, and the resulting piece blends in well against its black background. Print Settings: - Printer Brand: UP - Printer Model: UP Mini - Rafts: None needed - Supports: Not required - Resolution: .2mm - Infill Density: 80% - Filament Type: Octave ABS - Filament Color: Black
