Google Glass Bridge

I've designed a prototype that fits seamlessly into existing Glass frames, allowing them to accept different types of glass. The "other" type is still up for decision, but I aim to make it possible to attach various complete glass frames with their arms and nose pads removed. Since my OEM Glass shades are starting to crack from regular use, I figured it's time to upgrade without modifying the $1,500 investment. This mod works smoothly like the original lenses and even provides rigidity against titanium frames. The mount is fairly universal when paired with 2 mini zip-ties, allowing for flexibility in positioning by 2-4mm higher or lower, inside or outside of the bridge lip. To accommodate varying frame sizes, I could create additional bridge faces to swap and expand the range of up/down options. Each frame requires individual consideration to clear the top right lens frame for viewing the Glass prism. With this method, you can choose to cover the prism with the lens or mount low enough (easier with square frames) so you look above the frame to see the Glass prism. My latest version (V2) was printed in black PLA and attached to Gunnar glass frames after removing side arms for a test fit. I have other variations in the works, but I've paused for now due to the new release of "Glass 2" in November, which requires me to gather more details and measurements on any physical frame changes.
