Google Chrome Offline T-rex keychain - With musical Gcode
thingiverse
I just wanted to create a custom keychain based on that adorable offline T-Rex guy from Google Chrome. You might know it's actually a game to keep you entertained while waiting for your connection to be restored - simply hit space when you see this little guy the next time! To make my keychain, I uploaded the G-code I used for printing. It's optimized for 98A semiflex filament and specifically designed for the Prusa i3 MK2. When finished, it plays the iconic Jurassic Park theme! If you want to create your own print settings, I've included the raw musical code as well. Here's a video showing the entire process: **Print Settings:** * Printer: Prusa i3 MK2 * Rafts: No * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.2 mm * Infill: 15% **Post-Printing Instructions:** To finish your keyring, you'll need to carefully cut down the support structure after printing is complete. **Designing This T-Rex Keychain:** I built up the trex block-by-block in CorelDraw and then imported him as an SVG into Fusion 360.
