My 3D-printing philosophy: Things should print without supports and snap together whenever possible. I wanted a box to put my Google AIY vision project in that was a bit sturdier than the included cardboard. The previous designs by NewLifeTech and objbuilder (links below), are quite solid, but who wants to use screws for 3d printed objects that don't need to be super strong? I redesigned an enclosure from the ground up to hold all of the electronics securely (but not too tight) with small clips, and the back cover snaps on as well. It is possible to disassemble, too, which cannot be said of all snap-fit designs! Earlier versions were tested at 0.3 mm layer height and I did not notice a big difference. SD card insertion is very easy, but removal will require tweezers if your fingers are any bigger than mine - I can barely get it out. The power symbol over the right USB port (where you should connect power) also allows the power light to shine through a little bit. I added GPIO pin access to the vision bonnet, but I can publish parts with fewer ports on request. Inserting the nut for the tripod mount might be a little tricky - try threading in a 1/4-20 bolt to help pull it into the hole from below. My camera board seems to be mounted just barely off center, so I'm not sure how much manufacturing tolerance there is in other pi cameras. The model should be somewhat forgiving.
